Forensic Economics Database

Welcome to the Forensic Economics Database, based at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

This database contains a list of legal cases or decisions that are apt to be of particular interest to forensic economists and the attorneys who retain them. At least one issue in each case pertains, at least loosely, to some aspect of forensic economics. The cases themselves were compiled by Thomas R. Ireland, Ph.D. We are in the process of developing a limited capacity at this website to search the database of this set of decisions. We hope to provide additional flexibility and functionality for forensic economists and attorneys when this website is fully functioning.

The cases are grouped by legal jurisdiction, although federal court decisions that interpret state law are listed under the state whose law is being interpreted. Some cases pertain to both federal and state law. In those instances, the case is entered into the database twice, once under each jurisdiction.

Questions or problems should be addressed to David W. Boyd (boyd@denison.edu), Associate Professor of Economics at Denison University.
